The story of Evelyn Eijansantos Hairun, widow of PSINP Madusin Hashim Hairun who passed away last 10 April 2014 and a resident of Tetuan, Zamboanga City who we can say is a real survivor.
Mrs Hairun became a member of AMWSLAI and through the loans that they grant to survivors
like her, she was able to get back her house and lot that was mortgaged to a lending firm. And now her family are back in their home which is full of memories that she treasured most with her daughter, Aleli, her son, Khamar, and her grandson, Mekkan.
Mrs Hairun mentioned, “Thanks to AMWSLAI – Zamboanga Branch, because aside from having a home, part of the proceeds of the loans that they granted to me, I also invested in a small business that is now helpful to my family in our daily expenses.”
