An AMWSLAI member has the privilege to avail and enjoy various savings, loan, and welfare products and services, which are designed to support and enhance financial security.

Both honorary and regular members have the same privilege to avail and enjoy various savings, loan, or welfare products and services of AMWSLAI, which are designed to support and enhance their financial planning endeavors.

The key distinction between the two membership types lies in the voting rights. While regular members have the privilege to vote for the Board of Trustees, honorary members do not share this right. This ensures that regular members have a voice in AMWSLAI governance processes.

AMWSLAI accepts dependents of both regular and honorary members up to the second degree of affinity and consanguinity.

Consanguinity refers to the relationship between individuals who share a common ancestor through blood. It describes the connections between relatives who are biologically related. The degree of consanguinity depends on how closely two people are related. First-degree relatives include parents and children, while second-degree relatives include grandparents, grandchildren and siblings.

Affinity, on the other hand, is the relationship that arises from marriage. It does not involve a biological connection but rather a legal or social bond that unites two people and their families. Spouses, for example, are considered first-degree relatives by affinity, while second-degree relatives by affinity include parents-in-law and siblings-in-law.

By accepting dependents of regular and honorary members up to the second degree of affinity and consanguinity, AMWSLAI extends its membership benefits and services to a broader network of family members, ensuring that these advantages reach and support a wider circle of individuals connected to the primary members.
