A dividend earning deposit account
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
₱10,000 is the maximum allowable deposit amount for each capital contribution account per month
As mandated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, AMWSLAI declares and disburses annual dividends after each calendar year.
Members can claim their dividends at any AMWSLAI branch upon declaration of dividend distribution at the end of each calendar year. Members can also opt to receive their dividends via RCBC and other nominated bank accounts electronically through InstaCredit Facility (ICF). All members who opt to claim their dividend thru ICF cashless payout may withdraw thru their nominated ATM Account upon announcement of dividend distribution. Members with nominated non-RCBC account must wait for 3-5 banking days for their dividend to be credited to give time for AMWSLAI’s depository bank to validate their account.
No. Each capital contribution shall consist of a fixed and buffer component, as defined hereunder:
Fixed capital contributions – shall be an amount equal to Php1,000 or 10% of the Capital Contribution (CC) deposit, whichever is higher. This CC deposit must be maintained and once increased and recorded, cannot be reduced for the duration of membership except upon termination of membership.
Capital contribution buffer – refers to the capital contributions in excess of the fixed capital contribution. The withdrawable amount is the unencumbered portion of the member’s CC deposit.
