AMWSLAI, also known as the Air Materiel Wing Savings and Loan Association Inc, is a non-stock, non-profit financial institution established in 1956 to provide financial assistance to military personnel and their families. With over 60 years of service to the community, AMWSLAI has become a trusted and reputable organization that is committed to its mission of providing financial support and assistance to the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police.
Apart from its core services, AMWSLAI also takes an active role in promoting environmental sustainability and ecological conservation. On September 30, 2022, AMWSLAI partnered with Bantay Kalikasan of the ABS-CBN Foundation for a tree planting activity in the La Mesa Watershed Reservation Area.
La Mesa Watershed Reservation Area is a 2,700-hectare forest reserve that serves as the primary source of drinking water for the residents of Metro Manila. The area also serves as a natural habitat for various species of flora and fauna, making it a critical ecosystem that needs protection and preservation.
