For the past several years, AMWSLAI has enjoined all AMWSLAI Members to update their respective membership records pursuant to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Circular Nos. 706 Series of 2011 – Updated Anti-Money Laundering Rules and Regulations; and 993 Series of 2018 – Adoption of the Know-Your-Member Guidelines for Non-Stock Savings and Loan Associations.

Furthermore, the BSP issued Circular Letter No. CL-2019-002 - Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) Resolution Nos. 149 and 191 on Digitization of Customer Records and Identification of Beneficial Owners, which require among others, the complete digitization of all existing customer records.

In this connection, all AMWSLAI members who have not updated their membership records for the last three (3) years are once again reminded to update their membership records immediately.

This initiative shall also serve as an additional security measure to protect your account(s) with us and to ensure that we have your most recent information on record. Further, this will enable us to provide you with timely updates and important announcements regarding AMWSLAI products and services, schedule of dividend distribution and other corporate activities of the Association.

Failure to update your membership records on or before the day of 2021 Dividend Distribution will result to the termination of and/or suspension of your benefits and privileges.
